Ulysses Kay was a US composer of neoclassical music. He studied at several universities, including University of Arizona and Eastman School of Music, NY. His mentors included William Grant Still, Paul Hindemith, and Otto Luening. Kay was also awarded a Fulbright Scholarship. His compositional oeuvre includesásymphonic works, works for choir, as well as five operas.
