24 Classic Jigs and Reels, arranged for Violin and Viola

The contents of «24 Classic Jigs and Reels» have been assembled from several volumes of printed music from the late eighteenth and early nineteenth centuries. These volumes form part of the extensive Glen Collection of printed music housed in the National Library of Scotland. The selected volumes are all similar in that they contain songs and dances notated as single melody lines to be played by instruments.
