				Maurice Gardner wrote this piece for a competition Weber State University (then college) had. The requirements were to write a piece for viola, percussion, and dancer. Quadricinium was the winning entry and it was performed at Weber State on January 31, 1986 by violist Michael Palumbo, percussionist Donald Keipp. It was choreographed and danced by Michele Rusinko.
